The AMV Wars is not a free event to run. It costs money to purchase and update the computers the editors edit on, as well as the cost of shipping them from convention to convention. The free swag that we give out at our events are also not free to us, as we do have to purchase many of them. The booze for our editors and the DVD sources that are used also come at a price as well. And there are countless other costs that go into putting on this kind of an event.

People often ask what they can do to help out, and probably the biggest thing that you can do to help us out is to offer up a little money in the form of a donation. 100% of the donations we receive go right back into our events, whether it's to buy more memory for the computers, fix a monitor, purchase cords or projectors, or other equipment that we may need to bring with us to our events to give you the best experience we can. Even prizes and the coveted championship trophy costs money to purchase and get engraved with new winners. So don't think that any of this goes into our pockets, because it doesn't.

We may ask for donations at an event, but doing so we are rather limited in the form of donations we can accept. However, if you choose to donate online you can use a credit card, your back account, or whatever other method of payment is available through our easy to use paypal donation button. You don't even have to have a paypal account to make a donation as long as you pay via credit card (or check card).

There is no minimum donation. But every little bit helps. If every person who watches our events were to donate 1 dollar to help us out that would cover our expenses for that convention alone! And the more you donate, the more money we will have to give back to you!

However, if you are unable to donate any money don't feel bad. There are other ways that you can help us out. By clicking our ads you will be helping to keep The AMV Wars going. Remember, every little bit helps.

Thanks for your support!
