The AMV Wars
One of our other
points of divergence from the original is that we take our focus on the people in the audience
very seriously. Without you, we wouldn't have a show to put on.
The original tends to have a heavier focus on the editors
themselves, while we consider our editors more there for your
entertainment. True, they themselves are competing for the
coveted championship prize, but they are still helping to put on
a show for you, much like the WWE. However, I can assure you
that we don't script ANY facet of our events! And while it may
seem like the gloves come off in our main events, the cuffs come
off during our Hentai event. Don't forget about our newest event
which incorporates liquor into the mix, for that, the shirts

What
exactly is The AMV Wars? Well for starters, it is a
spin off from the ever popular AMV Iron Chef/Editor that you can
see at the big cons like Anime Central, Anime Weekend Atlanta,
and Otakon. We're not the original, and we are fine with that.
We pride ourselves in the fact that being 'unsanctioned' we have
a bit more freedom with our events. For starters, we were the
first ones to put on an actual Hentai Iron Editor event as a
convention event in a convention sponsored room! And we continue
to push the envelope further with new renditions of the Iron
Editor idea.
